Interac recruits and places Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in Japanese public elementary, junior high, and high schools throughout Japan. As an ALT, you'll work alongside Japanese teachers to support English lessons, encourage classroom communication, and help students develop practical English skills while experiencing everyday life in Japan. Interac guides successful applicants through recruitment, visa processing, onboarding, training, and continued support after arrival.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • Native-level English proficiency
  • Valid passport and eligibility to obtain a Japanese Instructor visa
