What this is
You spend three days training and testing under CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance) standards, based at Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort in Hakuba. The course covers ski teaching methodology, technique, and lesson delivery, with an emphasis on developing beginner and children's skiers. You get personal feedback on your skiing and your teaching, guided by trainers who have certified thousands of instructors since Evergreen Alpine Academy's first course in 2012. On completion, you become a certified CSIA Level 1 instructor and a member of the CSIA, qualified to teach up to Novice Turn level. Extended prep-training packages are also available if you want more coaching time before the evaluation.
